This weekend we did a small write up on Baltimore’s Hidden Volume Records’7&7 mini zine with flexi disc. Since then I’ve been checking out a lot of the rest of their roster, and wanted to share two stand out bands.
Kurt Baker Combo’s “Give It Up” features an uptempo early sixties back beat mixed with a bit of punk snarl.
British invasion era trash pop directly out of Japan. The Routes “Meant to Be” EP, doesn’t hesitate for a moment after the first chords come chugging in.
